cab fare?

We are going to IOA and US for 2days of our trip! I had looked into renting a car, vs. a shuttle, vs. cab. Does anyone know approximately how much cab fare is from ASsp to US for 2adults/2children?

Has anyone out there used a taxi or shuttle from a disney resort to Universal? Just trying to decide if we actually need to rent a car... we have one reserved right now, but do not really want to drive around orlando if we don't have to!! The cheapest rate I can find on a rental car is around $85. If it would cost about the same amt to take a cab (plus with a car we would have to pay parking) we will cancel the car. Please some of you experts out there give me some advice!!!! We are spending 2days at Universal but staying @disney resort. There are 2adults and 2children going... car? shuttle? taxi?

I'd guess $30-35 plus tip each way.

According the the taxi fare estimator on the Mears website the cost one way would be about 30.57. This most likely does not take into consideration any traffic delays so the cost could be more.
Mears shuttle would be $64.00 round trip for 2 adults 2 children

Thanks! So I guess the car rental really will save us alot of money... but is it worth the headache of driving???? mmmm... I really have to make up my mind!
