cab fare jfk to lga

Help! I am helping to plan a trip for our au pair's parents from Zimbabwe to Chicago on Dec 23. Their plan will land at JFK but there are no direct flights to Chicago or Milwaukee from JFK except on a 40 passenger jet and her father would most likely suffer a stroke on a plane that size! All the connecting flights are on similar equipment.

SO, there are many options from LGA but what would a cab run between the two airports. I know someone here will have an answer.

Although it would be more expensive to do so, it might be less stressful for them to book a car service. They would meet them with a sign inside the terminal, assist with luggage and then take them to LGA. There would be no waiting on the endless lines for a cab. There are tons of companies to choose from so you can shop around for a good price.

I always took the Carey bus. It was cheap and ran regularly.
Drops off and picks up at each terminal too. Easy to find just
outside on the curb at baggage claim. My guess, from Zimbabwe,
they speak English so they can easily get help and the signs
are clear. Then , they just ask the driver -who will be the hardest
to understand but just make sure La Guardia is the destination.
There are signs lit up on the front of the buses. I hate having
to be met in JFK, too many possibilities of failure to connect.
I used to have a client that HAD to be met and tranferred due
to her frailty. I actually made friends with and paid someone
from an airline to see that it happened every year. That way there
was someone on the ground to clear up the screw ups which
always happened. I found NO totally reliable service in NYC. We
were a carriage trade agency and belonged to all sorts of organizations but this is a flawed process, believe me.
