Cab costs from BLT to AK or DHS

Does anyone have a rough idea of what a cab costs from BLT to either of these two parks?

Bay Lake Tower - the DVC property attached to the Contemporary.

Plan on $25 each. It'll probably be less - possibly a lot less. Fare is $.55 per quarter mile, $2.20 plus a $.50 or so surcharge for the first mile. Every X seconds of 'standing' time (e.g. traffic light) bumps the fare up by either the quarter-mile rate or something smaller.

I went from CR to BWV with tip $23. Not as cheap as I expected after reading these boards.

I would suggest going to mousesavers.com they have a link on their with a local cab company & their phone number. In the past, I've called them directly and inquired about an "approximate" fare from point "a" to point "b"

The OP could also just go directly to MearsTransportation.com and get their phone number, and call them. Mears is the only cab company allowed to wait for fares onsite.
