CAA & free disney certificates

CAA is giving us free disney certificates not Disney dollars. Has anyone used these. She tells me they are good for resorts ,shops and the parks.

We are CAA members and have booked our latest vacation through them and haven't gotten anything???

They were as ignorant as can be and I complained.

If they come from CAA, I wouldn't count on them being very useful. The branch I dealt with last year was clueless about Disney vacations. They fouled things up from the word go. I complained long and loud. Should have booked the trip myself but got sucked in by an ad in the Montreal Gazette. In their defense, they gave us a cheque in US funds to cover the Character breakfast they mucked up and a $50 gift certificate for their travel store for the inconvenience.


PS- I think they are GREAT for Triptiks and towing services.

That's about all they are good for except of course the Travel Books! I like getting those. Oh yeah, sometimes offer cheaper attractions tickets, the movie speical they have right now is great too!

If you don't specifically have a "Disney Expert" don't bother, do it on your own!

I wish I read this before I booked. I have only had them book our resort and tickets through that 5 for 7 deal. I have made all PS's and room only ressies myself.....should I be OK.

I go pay off my balance on the 18th of August will I get my tickets and stuff then???? They booked it through Holiday House Vacations anyone have any experience with them.

Check and Double Check to make sure you have all your Vouchers!

IE, Hotel Vouchers stating that you are booked from such and such a time!

Last time I had added on a room only and there was no reference of this. Sure enough she had forgotten to give me my copy!

You Should be fine and it's a good thing you made all your own PS's!

I have never had good luck with out CAA and I keep promising myself that I won't go back. I do but I don't book a thing through them! When I went in to see about out DCL vacation they we NOT helpful and whenever I inquired about better rooms she just looked at me and made me feel like I had no buisness asking about anything better. I have had this experience everytime I go in. We have booked a few different trips through them but lately absolutely nothing! I swear I won't go through it again!!! I called DCL and they were so nice I just couldn't believe the difference. I booked with them just because of how I was treated!! All is well and we are going in January and I won't go to CAA again! Yup I've got to agree. Phoned to ask questions regarding CAA discounts at the DL resorts and stuff and they were clueless. The triptixs are great and some good prices on passes. We got US at par there in 2002.
