We booked our vacation last year through our local CAA office and we really not satisfied with the service. I ended up doing most of the work and she kept messing up. This year I booked with CAA again so we can get the discount with dining for next year. We just made sure that we used a different agent this time...well she seems to be incompentent also. Even after she repeated our requests back to us we get our confirmation and it was not what we requested and she repeated. I really have very little confidence in them. Is it possible to use a CAA outside of my area? If I can does anyone have the name of a good agent and maybe I could transfer my ressie over to them?

I am sorry you are having such a hard time with CAA agents. I promise we aren't all incompetent!!

As a member you can book with any CAA office you choose. Perhaps in your city you have more than one? I don't know if it would be possible to transfer your ressie from one agent to another , however you could enlist the assistance of the new agent or his/her manager to see if it can be done. I guess the new agent could always rebook for you, but only the original office would be able to cancel the original ressie.

We are closed today so I can't ask my manager how exactly this would work. Have you tried talking to the manager of the store you booked in? Sometimes an office will have a person more knowledgeable on wdw than the others and the manager could arrange to have the file transferred internally.

Good luck

We've had the same nightmares, our first trip, we arrived at offsite hotel with voucher in hand, to find no reservation had been made. Second trip, we waited, and waited, and waited for our documents, and when we called Disney, were told no reservations were made. Both times it worked out, and we stayed where we had thought reservations were made, but we definitely questioned our TA. This year, when we went to book, the TA laughed at us, because it was 8 months before our trip. We got the last laugh, we changed TAs, and went to Dana at London's CAA. She has been excellent, responding promptly, getting us the package we wanted at a great rate, and being happy to help. I would recommend her to anyone.

We only have one CAA office in our city. I spoke with the manager last time and he said he couldn't understand why she did such a bad job as she was their usual Disney agent. It was so frustrating, we didn't get our tags or package until we arrived :confused3 we had no idea that it came with a parking pass or storytelling ect.. I ended up booking part of our vacation on my own, the other part I had to hold her hand. I would transfer in a heartbeat as long as I wouldn't lose my deposit.

With Disney your deposit is fully refundable up to 45 days before so there will be no problem there. You would want to be sure though that what you have booked is still available prior to cancelling a previous reservation.

I was told that they keep 25.00 per booking and since we have rooms booked it works out to double :confused3 .
