CA teachers & administrators: found great price on APs

So they don't ask for any kind of teacher number or anything?

The only reason why I ask is because I'll be paying for them and it will be easier for me to call and do it than to have DBF's Mom call.

The person I spoke with (Terri, extension 3534) said no number or anything needed. My sister got a guy who was pretty lame--didn't explain anything to her and told her she might as well buy them at DL since it only saved her $52. Hello? That's why you're offering this deal, so people can save themselves some money and $52 is worth saving! Anyway, she didn't need to give him a number but she said he looked her up in the system, so I think as long as you have the name of the person in your party who is a teacher you'd be ok no matter what.
 
wow what a great deal! If we have my sister buy these for us next year could we bring the deluxe ticket and upgrade it to a PAP?

You then have a year to use it, so if you activate it the last day, Jan 4, your pass is good until Jan 4, 2011. As of right now, it does not give a price for APs beyond 1/4/10, so I don't know what the price might be after that. I sure hope they keep that price.

But as far as upgrading to Premium, yep! That's no problem.

I need to figure out how to multi-quote so I don't have to write separate posts :laughing:

Yes, I am waiting to see what they do after that also. I would rather have an AP go summer to summer instead of Jan to Jan. Then you can get in two summer vactions on one AP. :)

Great! Well if they ask I'll give them her name. But the tickets and everything will be in my name. I'll write down that extension and use it when I call and order them.

And $52 is a lot! That's dinner!

No, no names. It's just a voucher that will need to be exchanged for an actual pass by the person who takes it to the park. It's like the Costco vouchers--you had to be a member to purchase one, but it didn't matter who used it.
 
And these vouchers, you take to the ticket booths first and exchange them for the passes that get you INTO DL and then you go to the AP processing center, correct? Or can you go straight to the turnstiles with them?

I asked the CM about this when I called for our Holiday Tour tickets this morning. He said you can go straight to the turnstiles with them and then go to the AP processing center later in the morning. I'm so hoping this is correct!
 
I just called today for my AP passes and hopper tix... Thank you so much! Grand Savings of $101.50!!! That's extra $$$ for Disney!! :)
I got stuck paying a processing fee of $12.50 and the $15.00 delivery fee, but I'm getting the tickets delivered tomorrow. So Im not complaining! :)

Regarding the processing fee, I wonder why they charge some and not others? My sister did not have to pay and the woman I talked said that I would not have to pay.

It might be worthwhile, for those who are planning on ordering APs, to go to the woman I talked to. She gave me her name and extension number which I've already posted but will add again here: Terri; x 3534. She specifically told me no processing fee. Maybe it depends on how many you order?

so i called today and i called in after their processing time, so my order is being processed today and then shipped out tomorrow. :(
but im not complaining, altho DH said i should have asked for the $15 delivery next day fee back. LOL...

Oh man...I'd be mad! What's the point of next-day delivery if it comes 3 days later??? The one good thing about the $15, though, is that it includes insurance so if the envelope gets lost, you're not out all of that money you spent on tix.
 
So if you call on a Friday they won't come until Tuesday? I'm going to call for mine Monday November 30th. I really hope they ship them out that day because we'll be leaving that Wednesday.

Be aware that you must call before 1:30 PM PST for them to be processed that day.

I'm not sure why aprincess had to call twice to get hers processed?

Yeah, that would make me a little nervous! I wonder if they can do some kind of tracking thing so you can make sure they got sent out. Would sure be a bummer to leave for DL without your aps!!!
 
My tickets arrived first thing this morning!!!
So I now Have all my AP's ready!!! woohoo!!!
Not sure why they waited until Monday to process, but atleast my tickets arrived and Im free to go my way.... to DISNEYLAND!!! WOOHOO!!!
