CA DVC owners?

Hi Dizneyholic! What a small world- I grew up in Grand Terrace and my Dad still lives there! We did love OKW; it was so tranquil. I am headed to DLR tomorrow and I want to see the new interactive Mr. Potato Head at DCA. Have fun when you go on Monday, it should be great.

Hey Longhairbear, my kids and I have been on spring break (I know it was scheduled at a weird time) We went to DL on Wed. What a great day. No lines. We think it was because everyone thought it was going to rain. It was a glorious day! We will at OKW form June 17 to June 26. When are you going? Agoura Hills? I have a close collage friend that live in Agoura Hills. Not too far from us.

We are going the first week of June, staying at VWL. We live near Old Agoura.

Hey I use to live in Grand Terrace and then Redlands when I went to Nursing school at Loma Linda. We live up in Redding now (I sure miss having an AP and living close to DL).

Looks like we will be missing each other. Would like to stay at VWL sometime. We have only stayed at OKW once before and liked it. We just became DVC members late last year (rented the first time). Because this trip is a 10 day trip, I decided to stay at OKW (bigger rooms) My friend lives near Malibu Lakes area. His DD12 and my DD12 are very close. So we get into that area of Agoura Hills a lot. My DH loves to drive the roads there. too.

LOL! I grew up in Agoura Hills. Now we are in San Diego but parents still live off Kanan. Such a small world. I LOVE that area of So Cal. If we weren't so settled here in SD, we would probably move back home.

Not that I get to see much of it. My DH has Cheyanne Turbo Porsche and loves to do those curves. He doesn't go too fast, but when you are low to the ground. it sure seems like it. He will be taking the Richard Petty driving school at WDW this summer. I hope it won't encourage him to drive faster!
The PCH near Oxnard has a huge rock that has been cut through so the PCH can go through. That Rock in in a lot of commercials. I'm always finding scenes form our area in movies. It is a lot of fun to recognize familiar places on the big and small screens.

We're from Redlands - close to SandyCA! We just got back from our first trip to WDW as DVCers. We stayed at OKW and thought it was beautiful. We're going back in November to stay at our "home" resort. I wish we had been able to get in on DVC sooner - but I guess better late than never!

I'm learning it's such a small world around here! I work at LLUMC. It really is great to be close to DL and the AP makes it so easy to come and go. I hope you get back at least once in awhile!
