BzzAgent - Firefly Phone

Is anyone a memeber of Bzz Agent and participating in the Firefly Phone Campaign?

My daughter was very excited that she was getting her own cell phone. But after 3 days the thing still doesn't work. I have contact Firefly and they so far can not figure out what is going on. Instead of Firefly being the carrier it is another provider. And you can not call to or from the phone. Anyway, just wondering if we are the only ones. Or if others are in a simular boat.

We are also having a problem with it. First they gave us a phone # for Hudson County when we are in Bergen County. Then they couldn't get the phone reprogrammed for a new # in our county. Now they say it needs a new card which I should get this week. It's been almost 2 weeks and I'm still trying to get it to work. Frankly I don't think DS will use it that much - we got him a T-mobile pay as you go phone in July and I think the $ per minute is better for that phone.

Glad to know I am not the only one. I still need to call them back after their lastest "this should fix it" to let them know it didn't.

Well it turns out that we are in a low to no coverage area, so the phone is useless to us I don't understand why they allowed me to join the campaign if we couldn't use it.

I checked the firefly website and they too say it is available in our area, but then if you look at the coverage map it is pretty apparent that it isn't.

Just glad I didn't spend the $100 on it.
