BWV Waitlist Hope

Thoughts on a waitlist coming through for me October 17- 22 at BWV. I have two waitlists for studios during the timeframe. I do have a backup hotel reservation. I've never done a waitlist before so uncertain how often they come through.

A 5 night waitlist at BWV during Food and Wine is very unlikely. Garden and Pool View would give you the best chances. Good luck.

Pre Covid we would use our points for a hotel stay instead of villas. You could contact MS and see if you could use your points on the hotel side Or maybe even BCV or YC. Otherwise it is pretty slim chance I would think.

Have been on the waitlist forever for Boulder Ridge (October also). I don't think it's happening either (2BDR).

I agree that chances are slim, but what do you have to lose? I also agree that P/G view has best chance of filling because there are so many more of them than of BW or Standard view.

We're there Oct 28-Nov 2 in a studio Garden Pool view.

I got it a few months ago. It's hard to get during Food and Wine and frankly I'm shocked I was able to grab it as well as a January stay which I got at 7 months.

So, like others, I'd say put in the waitlist and see what happens. Maybe you'll get lucky?

Nothing is impossible but I honestly think that the odds are slim.

Since you already have waitlists in place I’d suggest that you stalk the inventory - I’d do it multiple times a day - as often as you can. That way you may be able to piece together a stay by booking one day here and one day there. That assumes that you have free available points to use.

You never know. I booked BWV (not OP's timeframe) but had waitlisted BCV. Somebody cancelled BCV so I got that and my BWV dates became open for someone else. Somebody who wanted BWV for my dates was probably happy about my switch.

hate to say this but...Zero....I've been trying to add 1 night for 6 months and I look every day.... but lightening does strike so good luck...

I wouldn't quite put the chances at zero considering the post directly above yours is the OP saying the waitlist came through.

I put in 2 waitlists a few months ago just for one night Nov 22 - a studio at CCV or value at AKV.

Not a big deal if we don’t get one which is why we took our Megamillions chances with AK

We have bunch of days BLT, weekend at BWV, bunch of days BCV. Trying to get it down to BLT and BCV.
