What is the quickest way to get from BWV to MK...we will have park hoppers so we could walk through Epcot and take the monorail to MK...how many stops is the ride between Epcot and MK.

Taking the monorail will be 10x longer than taking the bus.

Time for the bus depends greatly on the time of day and the specific routing of the bus. Morning dispatches are dynamic. Drive time will be less than 15 minutes.

I believe it is much quicker to take a bus from BWV then walk through EPCOT to catch the Monorail.

The Monorail that runs to EPCOT only goes to the TTC. You would need to switch to either the other Monorail (take the Express that doesn't stop at the resorts) or the ferry.

Walking from BWV though EPCOT is quite a ways and will take 20 to 25 minutes.

It might be possible to walk to MGM and catch a bus directly to MK. The MK busses do go right to the front of the MK. If your room at the BWV is on the MGM side, this might be an option.

If you want to be first on the bus going to MK, walk to the Swan and catch the bus there. The bus route is "PARK, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club, BWV" for all routes.

We often will get off the bus at the Swan and walk to the BWV. We can beat the bus by 5 minutes most days.

That's actually not true.

During the morning, the routes are dynamic, and can be changed at any given moment. In the afternoon, they are fixed, but can be changed if neccessary.

During the morning, typical routing might be BW->S->D->Park and YC->BC->BW->Park

During the afternoon, routing is as follows

Magic Kingdom:
BW->S->D->MK
YC->BC->MK

AK: S->D->YC->BC->BW

DTD:
Pre 5pm: S->D->YC->BC->BW
Post 5pm:
BW->S->D->MK
YC->BC->MK

The bus from MGM to MK drops off at the TTC, not the front of MK. You would still need to take the express monorail to the MK gate.

Take the bus from BWV to the MK. Even if you just missed the bus, the 20 minute wait along with the 15 minute ride will be MUCH MUCH quicker.

I have walked to the front of Epcot from BCV and do not remember it taking so long...is this accurate?????

I would think 10 minutes from BWV to IG and 10 additional minutes from IG to the front of Epcot would be accurate, walking at an average pace. Don't forget the bag check. I would take the bus, even with a long wait for the bus it would not take as long as the walk + 2 monorail route.

The walk from the BWV to the International Gateway of Epcot is about ten minutes. Then to get from there to the main entrance (which is where the monorail is) is at least another 10-15 minutes. Then having to switch monorails at TTC is just making it a much longer way to go. Take the bus at either your resort or as someone suggested take the short walk across to the Swan and catch the bus from there.

Didn't know about the bus routes...It seems like everytime we take the bus from BWV, we go directly to the park and when we return we follow the S/D, YC,BC, and BWV route.

Of course, we normally visit during slower times of the year, so maybe the bus routes change when it is busier.

I also didn't know that the MGM bus went to the TTC. Just I learned two things today.
