BWV SV room and other requests

Planning to book next week. Hoping for BWV, SV at 11 months.
Need to book a 2bdrm, and studio.

Thoughts on rooms to request/avoid?
Also, when do I reuqest this,as well as non-smoking rooms, and rooms close to each other-- at booking, or by putting in a request a few days ahead as I would when booking a non DVC resort?

Request non-smoking and "together" when you book. We also own at BWV, and so far, the "together" has come through for us as well as non-smoking.

We have found that even if they can't do "together", we've been accomodated with "nearby".

Our "close together" request was 2 floors apart, but then again it was the Boardwalk View over Christmas. Still worked out fine for our family get together.

Keep the NS and "nearby" requests and hope for the best, and keep realistic expectations that requests are just requests. Regardless of the location of the room, the resort is wonderful!
