I saw a picture of one of the studios at BWV. I see there is a sleeper sofa but what also looks like a daybed. Is that in all the rooms and can it be used for sleeping?

The studios with the "daybed" are dedicated studios and used to be called Studio Plus. You used to be able to request a Studio Plus. No more.

The "daybed" is about the size of a crib with a thin mattress-type pad on it. A small child could fit on this, but no one over the age of six. Most people use the "daybed" for additional seating or to stash their luggage or purchases.

We had a room like this when my son was six and he tried to sleep on the "daybed". He hated it and wound up with me in the queen sized bed.

That small "daybed" is only found in the dedicated studios. It's not in the lock off studios.

It's more like a bench than a daybed and is quite narrow as well as short - 5 feet at the most. Some report that their small child used it as a bed. Others said their little one said it was too hard. It does have sheets under the cover, but it is definitely too small for an adult or pre-teen to use as a bed.

We used it for a luggage rack, lol.

Also, while you can request a dedicated studio, it is never guaranteed.

are these studios bigger than the regular studios or same size?
The same size. The daybed goes where you would find the connecting door if the studio were a lock off.

We had one of these rooms in April. My 5 year old (she's a bit on the small size) slept on the daybed for 6 nights in a row and loved her cozy little space, but my 7 year old (a bit on the tall size) would have been cramped. We did not request the room, it was just assigned to us randomly - it was a nice bonus that the girls each got a bed to themselves.
