BWV studio?

Hi, I have stayed at the BWV with the BW VIEW a few years ago and our room slept 5. (there was a day bed) Are these rooms with a daybed still at BWV?? And how are they identified? Any help is welcomed!! thanks,Joan

Are you sure it was the BWV and not the BW? I've never stayed at the BW Resort (non-villas), but I've stayed at the Beach Club Resort (non-villas), and they had two beds and a daybed, accomodating 5 people. The BWV studios accomodate 4, in a bed and a pullout sofa.

I agree, I have stayed at the BWI and BWV. The Inn did have a nice daybed when we stayed there. But we had a dedicated BWV studio a couple of times and they had a bench-type seat. I guess a toddler could sleep on it as it was about 48 inches long. Not sure if the OP is talking about this.

Yes, the dedicated BWV studios (aka studio plus units) do have a small (very small) daybed. IMHO, it's really a parson's bench and not suitable for a bed. These dedicated studios are available by request only. No guarantees that your party will get one if you book a studio.

The DVC studios only sleep 4 persons plus an infant under the age of 3. A portable crib (Pac 'n Play) is provided for the infant. MS used to take reservations for 5 in a BWV studio, but will no longer do so. If your party of five are all over the age of 3 you will need at least a 1 bedroom unit.

I do not know for sure what the BW Inn has - my understanding is that all of the deluxe resorts (except the WL and possibly the AKL) do have some rooms that sleep five persons. Those rooms have a twin sized daybed in addition to two queen beds.
