BWV standard view

Hi
I was wondering how hard it would be to get a standard view studio at the BWV at the 7 month mark. And the dates would be either the 3rd week of Oct. or 2nd week of Nov.

I think you will have a very difficult time. That is the F&WF and the Disney Golf Classic in Oct, all the units at BWV and BCV go early, std view go early all year round. I would book a back up at VWL, SSR or OKW and get on the wait list right at the 7 month mark.

I made our first reservation for BWV for next April at 6 months out. MS was surprised, but they did have a standard view 1 bedroom available. I know it's not F&W, but I'm hoping it's Flower and Garden again.

Sure was pixie dust time for us!

I just got back from a trip in a 1BR standard view booked at the seven month mark, so ya never know until you try!

I booked, at 11 months, at my "home", BCV, then called, at the seven month mark, to switch to standard view at BWV.

I had to wait list for my first two nights (October 31 & November 1) but the rest of the week was available.

My waitlist came through about a month or two later.

Only 20% of the BWV units are standard-view, and since they require fewer points than the preferred-view units, they are indeed scooped up quickly by greedy BWV owners such as us who love the standard-view rooms. That being said, the wait list will often come thru for you as previous posters have suggested, even if you don't get all nites on the first try. Good luck!

Also remember that the 2nd week of Nov 2005 is Jersey Week. All of New Jersey teachers have off due to a convention. Most School districts give the kids off anywhere from all week to the 2 days. You'll find alot of people from NJ going to Disney.

I know this is a different time of year but I got a standard view studio last August at the seven month window no problem.
