We once rented a studio at BWV. The view was of the court yard. We thought it was lovely. My question is would that be considered preferred view or standard?
I know the boardwalk view would overlook the boardwalk (obvious). Would the preferred view be the pool, leaving the courtyard view for standard? Or is the standard the typical parking lot view? This is DH and my 25th wedding anniversary trip. We will be a party of 6 (4 kids with us) so a 2 bedroom will be needed, and possibly 2 studios for guests.
The other villas on the list is BCV or SSR.
Any help?

courtyard and pool are both preferred views. :thumbsup2

by courtyard you mean the grassy area between BWV and BWI right?

Yes, that is what I mean. Thank you very much.
So, if you don't mind me asking, in your opinion is the extra points worth the views?

The standard view is nice points wise but I bought plenty of points caue I love the BW view.

I'm a fan of standard rooms because when it comes right down to it, I'm not spending time enjoying the view from my room. I'm walking around checking stuff out, or at the parks. I'd rather save extra points for another trip.
We had a standard view at BWV earlier in the year, and our room was in the front, over looking the entrance of the resort. We could see the parking lots, but I wouldn't consider the view "parking lot view." We could also see some of the fireworks from Illuminations, which was cool for the night that we were back in the room early.

Preferred and Boardwalk aren't extra. The standard view is just discounted due to the view of the parking lot. Standard views book very early and they're aren't that many of them.

Is BWV worth the points? Yes!

Best Wishes for a great trip.

IMO the BWview is worth the pts. If I need 4 or 5 studios for the F&WF I get standard view. If I only need 1 then I get BWview for DW and I.

All depends on what your preference is...

I always try to book BWV standard.... It's not so much that I don't care about the view, but if I can stretch an extra day out of my vacation for the same amount of points, count me in. :teeth:

Boardwalk View is the view of the Boardwalk..
Standard View is of the parking lot and the pond and trees in front of it..
Preferred View is everything else.. (IE.. Pools, Canal, little red building, etc..)

We stayed with courtyard view last May it was fantastic.

Thanks everyone. Since this is for our 25th vow renewal trip I think I will go with the preferred or BW view.
Thanks to everyone!! Now, I just hope that we can get a 2bdr and atleast one studio at the 7 mnth window.

We stayed in a studio (room 5055) and it was essentially a boardwalk view. We could see a large portion of the boardwalk, and spaceship earth. It was an amazing view. We spent a lot of time sitting out on the balcony watching the boardwalk at night. In the morning I would look out the window to assess the line at the bakery. I can't imagine a better room or a better view!
