How comfortable are they really?

What size is the one in the studio and can a couple sleep very well on it?

Does anyone know anything about the one in the grand villa?

We have a group of adults (14) staying in a BWV grand villa and a studio and need to decide who gets to sleep where????? How can we do this without too much difficulty!

Any suggestions or experiences would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance!!!!

The sleep sofa is a full size. It is approximately 54 inches wide. Although many couples can sleep together on it, my teen daughters cannot. They cannot tolerate sleeping body touching body all night and groans of "she's touching me!" or "get over on your side" would be reverberating thru the room all night.

I just returned from a BWV studio, and I solve the problem by bringing an Aero bed so the three of us each have our own bed.

Thanks Carol -

Just curious as to where you fit the aero bed and was it difficult to maneuver?

Also - how comfortable was your daughter on the sleeper sofa? Is the mattress thin like most places?

The mattress is thin, but not as bad as some where you can feel the metal bars pushing through. It's acceptable for a short stay; I wouldn't bother with an aero bed........

I have never had a couple sleeping on the sleeper sofa at BWV but I have had many single guests sleeping on it and everyone has always slept fine, no one has ever complained and ALL of them have always been more than willing to come back as a guest and sleep on the sofa bed again in WDW! LOL! I would think if it is a real couple like DH & DW, etc that do not mind "touching" each other when they sleep they will be fine. My DD and I slept on the sofabed at OKW once when we were guests w/friends and we slept fine space wise, it was the bar grinding into my back that was the problem, I had to put the sofa cushions under the mattress it was that bad, but I think it was just on older sofa bed that needed replacing.

Thanks everyone -

Actually it would be a real couple (DH & DW) in the over 40 crowd.
I am not sure if this is going to work for them. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the grand villa which would be another option but if the mattress is thin and you can feel the bar then that may not work either. The trip would be for 4 nights.

There are actually 4 (possibly 5) couples going on this trip and 4 singles. With 6 "real beds" and 2 sleeper sofas we are trying to get as much information as possible to help discuss these options with everyone while trying to decide who gets to sleep where.

Any other experiences would be great!

My sister and I have slept on the sofa bed many times. We are not little people and the older sofa beds weren't very good. The last time we were there we had a new one. It was just fine. I can remember the sister problem with space because we were the same way when we were young. Hope you have a great trip.

All I can say on our 1st trip to BWV we had 2 bdrm and me and the wife gave up the master bedroom for my brother and wife while other couple took the other room. It was very uncomfortable and by the end of the week we just slept on the floor. We will never not have the master bedroom again.

My adult dd slept on the sleeper sofa in our 1br at BWV and after 2 nights begged her dad to switch off for a night, her back was killing her. Dear old dad said he didn't mind it . Maybe she really is the princess of the princess and the pea tale!
