We are staying at BWV Pool/Garden View in May. It is our first stay there so really don't know much about the resort. I am about to do online check-in and have chosen a high floor but for our other choice to I put near lobby or near transportation?

I love a nice open view so any recommendations of room/area to choose?

Thank you.

There's only 1 set of elevators for BWV, near the lobby, so that is the most common choice. (A few like being at the end, close to the stairs for a quicker walk to DHS)...and some of those probably get a better DHS fireworks view.

My experience is that BWV pretty much ignores room requests. I have discovered the charm of the rooms half way down the hall on the third floor. And there is a charm to those rooms - its possible if you are physically capable of stairs to take the stairs (five floors is a little much), so you aren't restricted to the elevator, but its high enough that you miss some of the noise (Pool view rooms at BWV can be really noisy mid-afternoon as many rooms overlook one of the two pools.)

You should call or email MS for a request as the online really doesn't give a room assigner much to work with.

For an open view you might ask to look towards the Swan/Dolphin. Otherwise the pool/garden views tend to be towards the 2 pools.
