We just returned home from a week stay at the BoardWalk. Lot's of painting was being done on the exterior of the villas. It looks great. The scaffolding in the quiet pool area has been removed. There is a staging area behind valet parking that we could see people/workers, construction trucks, etc. coming and going throughout the day. There was one short hallway (prefered views) on the second floor that had the new color scheme. We never saw any workers in the hallways. Anyone we spoke to had an "old" room.
As a side note, our "old" room was in pretty good shape. No problems to report.
We're going home in October, and I'm really looking foward to seeing all the new painting, carpets, and other things. Thanks for the photos.
OMG, I am so Excited! It looks great. we will be there in February. The hotel needed it bad. I can't wait to show the pictures to the rest of my family.
Happy Anniversary. We will be there for ours in February, along with 4 birthdays.
All BWV studios have one queen bed and one full sized sleep sofa. Some of the dedicated studios have what is called a "day bed" but it is really more like a deep bench with a cushion. These day bed rooms can not be guaranteed. And there is no way that the day bed is even close to the size a teen would need to sleep.

The pic of the room I am referring to has a full size green sofa and the gal that took the pics (I'm not sure how old she is) is sleeping on it. It will definately sleep an adult. Maybe the dedicated studio rooms will get them. Here it is:
