BWV Refurb Order? (Room/View/Floor)

Just curious if any knows what order the BWV refurb may follow, as far as room type, view, floor, etc.

Same as BCV, perhaps?

We do know that the BW view rooms were the first to go out of inventory.

For all refurbs of the BWV rooms in the past, the sequence was doing about half a floor at a time, starting with the top floor -- about half the rooms on the floor would be done and when finished, the other half would be done, and after that they moved down to the next floor. The result was that only a half floor was closed at any particular time.

There are indications -- the closing of all boardwalk view rooms in the fall, and the closing of all standard view rooms in Jan and Feb 2024 -- that possibly some other more member-hateful procedure will apply to the latest refurb.

Don't think they have started any yet. Most believe the refurb will begin this fall.

Has there been any concept art released?
Do we think it will follow the Inn side decor?
I'm excited about the refurbishment, but nervous at the same time.
I feel like Boardwalk decor could be hit or miss.

I think it will be very similar to the Inn side. That seems to be the pattern for the refurbs of the other DVC resorts associated with a hotel.

I'm sure the Villa side will have the "DVC" furniture (some of the Inn room furniture looks odd to me), but my guess is that the decor& colors will be very similar.

The Inn side before was so different from the Villa side, so that's why I was unsure if they were going to match in decor and colors.
Not sure I love it, especially all the yellow. At least we are getting the Murphy beds (or at least that's what I read).

Not sure I love it, either. However, from past experience, I almost always like the refurbs better when I see them in person. For some reason, (maybe my devices) videos and pictures don't really do them justice. So,

Well, I hope they finally replace those old terrible thermostats. Though maybe I will regret that if they have those energy saver ones where AC goes off when no movement in the room...just had at OKW.

Well considering that a lot of times the DVC refurbs for some reason are not highly themed as the regular ones, I would honestly expect less theming. Which I don't like of course

That’s what I was thinking/hoping too. We have a BW View studio booked 3rd week of December.

And the couches are hard to sit on for any length of time - the cushions slide off!

When they first announced those Murphy beds were coming to Riviera, they promised that all the sofa beds in DVC would be replaced by Murphys as resorts were refurbished (except for the ones like OKW where the physical layout of walls and windows prevents it). So if we don't get them in the living rooms and studios at BWV, we'll be sharpening the pitchforks.
