Do some rooms at BWV NOT have a balcony or patio? The survey of responses at wdwinfo indicates this. I have “rented” points from a DCVer for an upcoming trip in February and I will be somewhat bummed with no balcony. We will be staying in a standard view studio.

Thanks,

Paul

I'm not 100% positive, but I think they all DO have a patio or balcony. We had a handicapped room the first night (before asking to move) and the balcony there was much bigger than the one we had in the regular room. They aren't TINY, but only room for two chairs and a small table.

By the way..the handicapped room seemed a little larger. However, it did not have a sink outside the bathroom (except for the small kitchenette sink) or any bathroom counter space other than two SMALL shelves next to the sink IN the bathroom. There was no tub -- just a shower. We switched because the kids needed a tub. But, if it were just me and my husband, I think I would have stayed cuz of the little bit of extra room and the larger balcony. (It was room 528).

(OOPS!!! I was commenting on BCV - Sorry!!!)

I am a DVC member with my home resort at BWV, so we have stayed there numerous times. All BWV have a balcony. The studio balcony is the same size as the balcony found at most of the deluxe resorts, the 1 br and larger villas have a very nice size balcony.
You will love BWV, it is the best!!

The room #'s listed as no balcony don't even look like BWV room #'s. They are showing as 4281, 4283, 4285. I thought the highest room # at BWV was x138 (x being the floor 1 to 5). I think they are maybe Boardwalk Inn. Boardwalk Inn has room #'s like that.

Okay, I'm breathing a bit easier, now. Thank you for your prompt replies!

I am the person who posted the room report with the no balcony info. That was given to me by a CM last trip when we were reviewing floorplans for Grand Villa locations. It does seem to be questionable so I will stop there next week when I am at BCV and try to verify.

I just spoke with Maria at BW who apologized for the other CM's mistake. Rooms with a 0 or 1 as the second digit are Villas with a 2 or 3 are Inn. She said all the "no balcony rooms" are at the inn.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Sandy,

Thank you so much for the follow-up. It is truly appreciated!
