We bought BWV first, then VWL and finally AKV. We don't INTEND to buy any more points...

Geez. That is alot. Has it paid off? What are the positives for getting another resort as far as availability? That is my main concern. If we have to continue to make reservations 7 or 11 months out I just do not see the reason for getting asnother home resort unless it is for a change in scenery. I was hoping to be able to reduce the reservation time. I am going to Boardwalk in a month and I cannot cancel because they are booked up for the rest of the year. That is the only bummer about having to schedule so far in advance. It is tough with my work schedule. I am a spur-of-the moment type person.

BW is our 2nd home, bought WL resale 1st; then added on thru DVC.

If CRV doesn't come to fruition, i suppose we'll just add on more points @ BW

Check out the website for the sponsor of this board, "The Timeshare Store." They do DVC resale. We're going through Disney's ROFR right now with them for a BWV contract and hope to close in July.

Second resort? BCV - we love the Boardwalk area too much to go too far! But for now we'll just hope to be able to reserve there at the 7-month window.

When I need more points, which may be in a couple of years, I hope to add on to CRV. If this is not in the cards I will probably add on at AKV. The CRV and BWV would go together very well. I love having the option of walking to the parks and having quick access to other resorts, etc.

Before DVC, we stayed at the Contemporary twice and absolutely love it, but visited Hilton Head last year to burn points and loved it too.

Yep. That is why I love BWV right next to Epcot and MGM among other things. BCV would be great as well but they are sold out unfortunately. Basically everything is other than AKV and SSR.

Why not ask your guide if anything is available in your UY or go on the waiting list for BCV points? Or go resale, of course.

We own at the BWV and the BCV. We love both but our first love is the Boardwalk. As to things being sold out; There are always some points available. Maybe not all use years but your Guide will help you to eventually find what you really want.

We did add on this year at SSR, however, BWV is our first choice. Then I think BCV because of location - howver if CRV ever becomes a reality, we are SO there!!
