BWV on Ebay

I am surprised to see the growing popularity of resales on ebay. Currently there are 3 lists. Only one gives complete details (Uy, bank/borrowed as well as closing cost/maint. and who pays). One contract looks particular good, wish I had the cash 150 points, my UY (Feb) with all 04 -05 points intact. I have no 04, no 05 and already borrowed a little 06

Someone should be happy. It's priced right $74 pp dependiung on maint.

Anyone think private sales are becoming the way to go?

I've been watching that contract on Ebay. I've contacted the seller, and personally I don't think the seller is truly knowledgeable about selling a DVC contract. I was VERY interested in this contract, but the seller didn't even know they needed a closing agency at first to deal with the sale.

Sandy, we recently won a VWL contract through e-Bay and are currently waiting to hear if we pass ROFR. In our case, the sellers are in South America and the Orlando RE/MAX relator they are using is the one who had the auction. Because it was being auctioned by the relator, all pertinent information such as UY, number of banked and current year points, maintenance fees and closing costs were all detailed.

Not quite the same as going through a private party on e-Bay but it is another tool that can be used for finding contracts!
