BWV No BW or Standard Studio at 11 Months out!

Yea I must be the only one calling in today because I was able to get through with 2 rings. The CM was very quick and to the point, so I was able to snag my BW view studio. I also changed over my day to day waitlist to a combined so that I will only be switched if all of my first 3 nights come through. I didn't try to do the double waitlist for the standard view because I am already moving from POP for my first 2 nights. I just think a move every few days would drive me bonkers. I just hope B view comes through.

I hope it comes through for you, too!

It was harder for me to get through today. There was "up to 9 minute" wait, and that was the most for me. However, I did get it, am pleased as can be.

Have you ever been to WDW during NY? I know the crowds are insane. Do you tend to spend more time at the resort to avoid the parks during the busiest time of the day?

Today was much easier - on the phone with MS at 9:02 am and got the last night BW view. Thank goodness this is done (except the one night that I'm waitlisted for midweek).

Glad to hear that you were able to snag your ressie as well. I think I am going to call one last time for Jan 2 ressie although I am debating due to high point cost for weekends.

Have you ever been to WDW during NY? I know the crowds are insane. Do you tend to spend more time at the resort to avoid the parks during the busiest time of the day?

We have no experience at all. I am going because I like fireworks and this seems to be the place to be. I'll be reading more the closer we get to the time. I also am hoping to do the Candlelight Processional. From past years' schedule, the last one is Dec. 30th.

People here have reported that MK does the fireworks a few nights, not only on NYE. Epcot maybe as well. MGM only has fireworks on NYE.

I got through very easily about 1 pm today for my 1 bedroom standard view. I've got two more calls to make and then that piece of my reservations will be complete.

Today was our easiest day yet getting through. Now if our waitlist for the OKW grand villa for the 30th will just come through so we don't have to move. We have a backup for the BCV though so at least we are all set to go.

I called at 9am this morning and booked a one bedroom standard at BWV for Dec 28-Jan 2. I had a 10 minute wait on hold. I also was able to book a two bedroom for Thanksgiving at Hilton Head, Wednesday through Saturday.

Next booking was not so successful, but I didn't expect much. I wanted to use up some holding points so I tried for something for Easter. I got one night and jumped on the wait list. We'll see what happens!

It's great having MS open weekends!!

Yes it was very nice with MS open today! Although with my 2 calls to them today I am sure they were wishing they were closed!
