Does anyone have pictures of a grand villa a the BWV? Also does anyone know the locations of them?

Thanks
Dan

Since they are so many points, I don't think that the people using them can afford camaras.

This is why you see so many pictures of OKW units. Another contributing factor may be the embarrassment of spending so many points and have such a tiny, useless kitchen.

Good luck, I hope someone that could afford a camara along with all them points can put aside their embarrassment and post some pics for you.

Grammar and the proper use of the English language are obviously not your strong points. However, when it comes to constantly belittling all DVC resorts except OKW under the facade of humor, you are truly in your element! Enjoy!

Deep,

I think the term for it in the DSM III is "resort envy". Some folks are just so jealous of the "other" resorts superior location to theme parks and the amazing number of fine dining establishments, they are incapable of refraining from lashing out.

Does anyone really think he's funny? I'm not offended by his tongue and cheek criticisms of all resorts other than OKW but I don't understand the humor in it. Is it supposed to be clever to say the same silly thing over and over again?

Well, yeah, actually I think he's pretty funny. I am very content with my BWV purchase, and am happy that Rich is thrilled with OKW. If he is puffed up with pride and wants to crow about it, it doesn't detract from my belief that I bought the right resort for me. In the meantime, there are new folks joining the DIS every day, who haven't heard Rich listing OKW's virtues. When I was first looking into DVC, I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to stay so far away when they could purchase at BCV or BWV and walk to Epcot. OKW needs a cheerleader.

As for the OP, sorry. I'll have pictures for you as of January 2005, if things go may way when I make reservations very soon.

The only pictures I could find online were on Debs site.

All GVs have a boardwalk view.
Some are 2 story, and others are one level.

I think most people on this thread would agree that the "humor" is boring.
Richyams seems to have an obsession with "size".
Wonder if that pertains to other issues in his life???? :teeth:
I will stay at the BW with my tiny kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, jacuzzi, bathroom and balcony anytime. (Did I miss any elements?)
The BW view is worth the extra points in my opinion! :D

I notice that this post has been up for a long time and still no one will confront their embarrassment and post pictures.....interesting, but I do agree, all them points and that lousy little kitchen, I would be embarrassed too.

I don't remember ever seeing you posting any pictures of OKW GV. I remember once someone asking you to post pictures of OKW GV and you said you did not have a scanner or digital camera. Pretty strange comment from someone that supposedly makes a living from working with computers!!!! Could it be you are embarrassed and not willing to confront your embarrassment ??? Or maybe it is that your proclaimations of always staying in a OKW GV are just pipe dreams and hold no more truth to them then all the lies you post about all the other DVC resorts.

I think someone done been called out!!!!

The official DVC site has a Grand Villa Virtual Tour. It looks like it's tour of a single story GV, not the 2 level ones that are pictured in the other photos. I think you'd better bring your rollerskates! :)

dan and scott, sorry I only had 3 pictures of BWV/GV. What a view from balcony, better then the view from OKW /GV apartment complex balcony.

Rich puts BWV down a lot but I believe he even stays there on some trips.
Thanks for the views of the two story BWV-GV! When we toured, they only showed us a one story, and I thought it looked very spacious and special but also very dark. The The two story living room at OKW seems so much brighter.

As to the view, it is all what each person prefers. I really LOVE the water/golf course views at OKW, and the GVs are mostly up high, so we get great views. I think it is a lot about prefering city scapes or nature scapes. To each his own.

Speaking of 1 and 2 story BWV GVs... are there more 1 or 2 story GVs there?

The BWV GV decor is mostly light blues and whites, not excatly what most would consider to be dark colors. Any GV at BWV I have ever been in was not dark at all.

The view from the balcony of a BW GV does not look ANYTHING like any "city scape" I have ever seen!
I do agree though that the view from OKW villas has a very natural or rural look to it, especially if you get one of the balconies that are 95% covered by foliage.

walked the wrong way into one along the longggggggggg corrridor it was awesome ,just a little bit too big for us as it seemed to occupy most of the loooooooooong corridor.
okw Gv's remind me of living in a very large tree house
