bwv-given room choice at check in

Just got back from one night at bwv-went for MNSSHP. Anyway, when we checked in, I was shown a room chart and given my choice of 5 different studio locations. I just that was interesting, because that has never happened to me before. BTW, bus service and room condition were excellent! If you want more info on our mini trip(it was great) check the trip report board.

preferred...we picked 5th floor luna park, close to elevators.

Wow...... given a choice???? We booked 11 months out... it was our 25th anniversary trip; got neither of our preferences. We checked in at 1:30 pm and were told nothing else available. The unit wasn't ready until 4:30.
Later that evening family was told at 9pm that we hadn't checked in; further checking it was didiscovered that a surprise sent by family hadn't been delivered to our room as promised.
This was, I think, my ninth stay at the BWV as a DVC owner; and for the first time we were disappointed by various frustrations, (housekeeping, key card problems, etc) that it seems that there was a definate lack of pixie dust floating about!
