Sitting here in our 911/EOC Center waiting on "Round 2" of this Ice Storm to hit us thinking WHY oh WHY am I not at the Boardwalk enjoying the View drinking my morning coffee wondering which Park to visit.
For those of you departing today or Tomorrow call your airlines before heading out!...Shawnpirate:

I'm with you on that one....sitting here in my office looking out the window at storm 1 form us. So far we have a new 8"+ on the ground and still coming down heavy with another 18"+ expected in storm 2 tomorrow........sitting on the Boardwalk with a coffee would be very nice right now!:surfweb:

I'm with you both in my dreams...How about a "virtual" meet at the Boardwalk verandah. Let's sit in the wicker rockers and enjoy the view, the sound of the boats coming and going, the sun on our faces....:cloud9:

I'll be there in Oct., but that's an awfully long time to wait. I'll dream along with the rest of you. :cloud9: HUNKER DOWN!

You guys got the right idea! I am patiently awaiting this snowmageddon :rolleyes1. I am excited to say that a week from tomorrow, we WILL be on our way to BWV. Funny thing is, we originally wanted to plan our trip for this Wednesday (tomorrow), but decided to leave a week later so we would be home to enjoy Superbowl. Thank goodness! Beth- my family always calls those wicker chairs "our chairs", but we would be more than happy to share with you  I wouldn't even mind one of those pesky birds grabbing my ice cream right off my cone! Happy dreaming to all of you :cloud9: I know it sure makes these days a little easier to handle!

I'm looking at the snow falling outside my window and wishing I were somewhere warm. BWV (or anywhere in WDW) sounds great.

Actually, I'll be heading to BWV in April, but that seems very far away right now...

We have received 1/2 inch of ice since last night, All of the County is having intermitten power issues, Tree's hanging so low Police Fire/EMS vehicles cannot travel down the roads without losing there windshields and that was just the "Warm Up". Round 2 will do us in I'm sure.....THANKFULLY it has been quiet so far, at least as far as 911's go, EERILY quiet.....Thankfully our Generator will power us here for 4 days. Shawnpirate:

Smelling all the WDW smells and hearing all the WDW sounds. I guess I will go back to planning my Dec trip to brighten my day!
Now we know why so many people head south for the winter! How far north are you in IN? I think we are just going to get rain and wind here.

West Central Indiana Between Terre Haute and Indianapolis on the I-70 Corridor....Would Love rain at this point.

I'm with ya - we're headed to our first BWV vacation this August; have stayed at BCV a couple of times and have always enjoyed hanging out at the Boardwalk.

meanwhile I'll be blowing and shoveling the 20 inches of snow tomorrow

I'm having trouble visualizing warm weather. I think it might be time to break out the video from the last few trips to Disney.

I need to make a point of remembering this winter when we're sweltering away at the Boardwalk in July! Will be wishing I could save up that heat for next winter. The last couple of winters it's been hard to believe we live in the south now. (Yes we get snow and ice in western North Carolina, but I do sympathize with those who have it much worse).
