BWV corner rooms

I know that 1 BR villas numbers 2123 & 3123 are corner rooms. Would rooms 4123 & 5123 also be corner rooms?

4123 is also a corner. There is no 5123, there are only 4 floors in that section. Most of the standard views along the driveway are only 4 floors, there are some 5th floor rooms closer to the elevator but I believe they end at the point where the hallway splits off between the pools.

The first floor under 2123 is an exit.

Is there an advantage to corner rooms?

These rooms are larger. The kitchen and living room setup is great. The bedroom and jacuzzi part of the bathroom is the same as other rooms. The shower is smaller. I stayed in 3123 last December, see pictures:

I believe these are the only 3 corner rooms setup this way. And it's standard view (dedicated 1 bedroom)!

Are these rooms standard rooms? We are going in Dec, 1st time as DVC members and have a 1 bedroom standard view booked.

Yes, it's a standard view 1 bedroom. The funny thing is, I didn't request it! I had requested 4th floor, across from the bus stop. When we checked in around 1:00pm on Dec 6, it wasn't ready. I asked if our assigned room met my requests, they said no, it was more towards the end of the hall. I wasn't happy about the end of the hall, so I asked if anything else was available. Another cm came up and said "that's a very nice room". I thought she was just saying that. They said they were sold out and I could change the next day if we didn't like it. When I called around 3:00pm to get our room #, I was shocked when they said 3123, I heard about that room # before. When we walked in, I was amazed! And to think I wanted to give it away! I requested one of them for my April trip with friends and we ended up on the end near Jellyrolls!

When I called MS and made my reservation, I only requested a non-smoking room. Should I call MS again, and request to have one of these corner rooms or should I wait and call BWV, directly, four days out, and ask them to mark it on my reservation?

Call MS. DVC has posted on the member site that they do not want members calling or faxing requests direct to the resort.

I know there are 4 floors at that end - but we only have 2123, 3123, and 4123 noted here. Is there a 1123? Or is it really 5123 because the entrance is on the 2nd floor, so there's no 1st floor in that section? The floor numbers would still need to sync up with the front section.

There is no 1123, there is an exit in that spot on the corner. If you are in 2123, 3123, 4123, you can walk out of your room and take the stairs across the hall. It will bring you out on the first floor, you walk around a corner and out the door to the walkway to the parking lot by the pond. That door is below 2123. There are rooms on either side of this exit, they are first floor. There is also another door out to the quiet pool in this area. If you turned the other way and kept walking, it would take you to the exit by the health club & pool. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, the driveway goes uphill from the pond. 4123 is the top floor.
