BWV construction- end in sight?

I keep reading about the BWV construction/rehab effects on room availabiltiy and views, etc.. Anyone know when this will be done? We were there in Oct 2001 and they were working on the Quiet Pool/Community Hall area- is that done yet? Will it all be done by next January?

I know they still have the standard view area to do. We were in 3121 in December and the porch was in dire need of a power washing plus the awnings were taken down.

At the annual meeting in Dec., it was reported that the renovations will go into 2003. The place does really need some sprucing up--the sections that they're completing (by the quiet pool) look so great! It will be restored to its original beauty! I won't be thrilled when the std view rooms are not available, but I know it's necessary, so I'll live with it.

I assume they know when the standard rooms will not be available...we have a std 2BR and a std studio for January 2003 reserved, so presumably they will be there when we go...thought they already did the "standard view" side of the place???

I was in a std view room (overlooking the front entrance) in Feb., and the exterior was definitely in need of some work. I, too, have ressies for Jan'03 in a std view room, so they must be going to renovate either before or after this time period. I think some of the std view rooms with a tennis court view may have been done.

Latest vacation magic says work in quiet pool area is to end March 30; work on boardwalk area to end May 24; work in the Luna Pool area is to begin March 31. Schedule after that not given.
