BWV Check in...

Check in isnt until 4. What are the chances of our room being available before that????????? We will be there Aug 6. (SO FAR AWAY! )

That's a busy time of year so I would assume early check-in probably will not happen. My husband and I went Dec 10-16 to BWV. Our studio wasn't ready until after 5:00 pm and that's supposed to be a much less crowded time of year. One can always hope though!

We checked in on March 9th at 10:00 am and got right in. You never know its the luck of the draw I guess.

We checked in at 12 noon on Sunday, March 12. Our BoardWalk View room was ready at that time.

Checked in Oct 21st last year at 10:30 am room was ready. Courtyard view, perhaps the best view we ever had at at a Disney Hotel.

I failed to mantion Boardwalk Villa (not sure if it really makes a difference)

We are three for three on immediatley having a room - though it hasn't necessarily met our "view requests" We got into a BW View room at 1:00 - but it was Handicapped. We got into a SV room at 3:00 - but it was on the ground floor when we requested high floor. We got a preferred view room around 4:00 - but again, handicapped.

I think we got in at 3 pm no problem last year at Easter time...great room but we also paid extra points for prefered view.

Our best was at the BCV two years ago a few days before New Year's. We checked in at 10:00 A.M and were told our 2BR was ready. Talk about a shock. But a year ago at the BCV we waited until 5:00 P.M. and ended up having to change rooms. You never know what will happen. You may get lucky (or you may not).

You may or may not be able to check in early, depending on the room they have assigned you and whether or not it's ready.

We were very lucky Thanksgiving weekend 2003. We arrived Saturday morning at 9:00am and the room was ready.

It's a great thing to hope for, but I wouldn't plan everything around the assumption that it will be ready before 4:00pm.

Alot depends on how many rooms were empty the night before. Those rooms would be available first thing.

we have gone in august and called early in the morning from the hotel we were staying overnight at and they told us they had several rooms available and to come as soon as we can.I believe we were all checked in by 11:00am My dw just said it was the third week in August.Good luck
