BWV Buses August '14

23 days til I'm home sweet home! (Not like I'm counting). We've experienced shared busing with YC/BC, Swolphin, and all 5 resorts at once (yeesh). Any changes/forecast for August? Is the entire Crescent Lake resort area still sharing transportation to AK and MK? We're expecting to share, so I'm looking forward to waking my friends up in the wee small hours of the morning to make RD.

We were there July 4th weekend and the next week. BW was picked up first followed by Swan & Dolphin for both AK/Blizzard Beach and MK. BW was also dropped off first from AK/Blizzard Beach but last from MK. Y&B Club had their own bus for both AK/Blizzard Beach & MK.

Same when I was there last November - BW-Swan-Dolphin for both MK and AK. I didn't bus to Downtown Disney, I think all 5 share.

Yep, they do and we seem to regularly get on the bus when they switch drivers too. Every time we go to DTD BWV, is the last stop on the way back.

Thanks everyone! We're only making one trip to DTD, so we'll leave early. Makes me feel better about AK/MK, though. Sharing with 5 for the parks is the pits. Either way, we're in Disney so it can't be that bad!

Agreed. This happened in April as well. Great outlook to just plan to be up and out early. On the way back we always got off at Swan and took that walk-path. It was nice to walk on the Boardwalk anyway.

The only time I have encountered sharing for 5 resorts is mid-day. We've always had BWV - Swan-Dolphin buses during "rush hours" for the parks, early morning, evening and park close.

The good news is that the BWV is almost always the first stop going to a park. You have an excellent chance of getting a seat.

Tip: Coming back from DTD or a park, if the bus stops at the Swan first, get off and walk back across the bridge to the BWV. You'll beat the bus every time.
