Well, I tried to find the old thread on what was supposed to be a new and expanded bus service for the Epcot resorts but the search function is down so I can't verify the alleged start date but I'm pretty sure it was to be before now so.......... why are we still seeing people complain about the same 'ol, same ol' lousy bus service?

I just hope that the people who complain here are complaining through other, more official, channels as well. We filled out an e-mail survey last fall and made strong negative comments about the fact that the bus ride from WL to DD took 2 hours at dinnertime. About a month later a CM called me long distance to personally apologize. A certain amount of these and the message will get through.

We visit BWV at the end of March and we were hoping bus service would be improved. Your WL-DD experience sounds horrible! What happened? Did the bus break down?

We were there 2 weeks and the morning MK bus was better . . . it was empty when it go to BW and didn't stop anywhere else. However, the return bus was still the long Swan/Dolphin/YC/BC/BW route. Except for one night when it was raining, we got off at the Swan everytime and walked back. In fact, one day near the end of our trip the bus driver announced "Our 1st stop is the Swan. We'll then be stopping at the Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club, and finally the Boardwalk. For those of you staying at the Boardwalk, you can get off here at the Swan and walk if you'd like. It's a short walk and you WILL beat me there." I found it kind of humorous.

The night it was raining was frustrating. The bus driver left MK and went straight to the Boardwalk . . . myself and others looked around puzzled, but pleased, when she pulled in. Then, she drove right past the bus stop and said "Sorry folks, wrong turn . . . our 1st stop is the Swan." Another rider said "Can't you at least let us off since you're here?" and the driver said "No, there are safety issues and I need to run the normal route . . . I'm sorry." I thought she might be attacked by a group of wet, tired, and frustrated BW guests. Anyway, 2 people got off at the Swan, none at the Dolphin, 4 at the YC, and 3 at BC. The rest of the bus, at least 20-30 people, were unhappy BW guests.

Anyway, like I said, the morning seemed better, but the return route hasn't changed. FWIW, the MK bus stop still had all 5 resorts on the sign. I suppose if they are going to split the return bus route, they'll have to have separate bus stops too.
