How long should I allow for a bust to MK? Do they stop at dolphin, swan, bc, after or before the bwv? We have early morning reservations at CP (8:00) and were wondering how much time to allow?

Also, to AK, how long?

To get to WL, is it best to go to mk, then take a boat?

Thanks!

I was at BWV Jan 11 - 13. We took the bus to MK once and I was surprised and glad to see that we didn't stop at BC/YC. Just stopped at Swan and Dolphin. (Fish and the Duck as my kids say. )

IIRC, the BW pick-up and drop-offs came before Swan and Dolphin.

Sorry, don't know about AK.

For WL, I think MK then boat sounds most efficient.

We were there in December and allowed 1 hour to get anywhere for reservations. Sometimes we made it on time, sometimes we were 10-15 minutes late. Sometimes we would stop and pick up just Swan and Dolphin. It was usually when we came home that we stopped to pick up the BC &YC.
FYI, we learned to get off at the first stop and just walk back to the BWV on the way home! Probably would work best the same way, if you hopped over to the Swan or Dolphin and caught the bus. Honestly, its probably about the same walk, depending where in the villas you stay.

I think the bus to the MK and the boat or bus to the WL would be best. There is a bus that goes. (We didn't think there was, but found out otherwise)

The boatride is so nice, though. :goodvibes

In January, my DD7 had a Bibbiddi Boppidi (I never remember how to spell that!) Boutique appt at MK for 8:05am one morning. We were at the bus stop at 7am. As Murphy's law would have it - a bus showed up at 7:05am - and it went directly to Magic Kingdom. No stops anyplace! I have never had that happen. We were at the gates to MK at about 7:20am! It was funny because it was a bit chilly and there was hardly anyone there. However, we had the fun of being basically in the first 10 people into the park - very cool. But - they waited until 8am to let us into the park - so that was my longest wait at WDW in January!

Other days going to MK, it would be 5-15 minutes waiting for a bus - then it would stop at Swan and Dolphin (I never remember the order) then off to MK. However, coming back, BWV is the last stop after Swan, Dolphin, YC and BC. So annoying... but too lazy to get off the bus and walk from S/D. :)

Thanks! Good to know. We have stayed at poly and okw. Knowing our "home" was BWV, I was always checking out their bus lines. They seemed the longest of everybody's when it came time to leave the park. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed for no nightmares!

Why do they combine these resorts if they are so big? Also, is there just one stop at each of these places? At OKW, there were several. At poly, just one.
Thanks!

There is just one stop for each of the resorts that are on that run. IE Swan, Dolphin, YC, BC and BW so potentially 5 stops total. It could be less depending on how they have things scheduled. Good luck and have fun.

We often budget for a cab for "gotta be there" trips to the MK or AK or other resorts. We've had wonderful bus transportation from BWV to the parks - and we've had lousy bus transportation from BWV to the parks. Since we can't predict whether it will be a lousy day or a great day, when we need to be somewhere, we grab a cab.

BW is usually first stop when going to MK and it goes to S/D. Coming back it may be first or last stop (we have had both) but usually seems to be last. During slower times of day, it may also stop at YC/BC though they don't do that much anymore. Allow an hour to get to any ressie (get to bus station hour before). You may get to the park in only 25 minutes if bus is coming at same time you show up at the station, but you may have to wait up to 15 to 20 minutes for the bus although during rush times in the morning they may show up every 10 minutes.

AK is similar and during much of the day also stops at Blizzard Beach, and it is further away than MK. To assure getting to ressies there, you should allow a some more time than MK.

When you take a cab from BWV to MK where does it drop you off?
