BWV & BCV Questions

Hello - not having been to the parks in a long time, can someone please give me a brief overview of BCV and BWV in regards to the following:

1.) how long of a walk would it be from the furthest point of the rooms to the main pools (SAB & Luna)?

2.) How far of a walk is it to Epcot and MGM from either one? Is one closer then the other or do they each have their own entrances to the parks?

Hi, I can't answer #1 for you, although I thought it was pretty easy to get to Luna pool from any room at the BWV.

As to #2, BWV is actually in between MGM and Epcot, and the BCV is on the other side of the lake nearer Epcot. From BWV it's about a 7-10 minute walk to Epcot, and a 10-12 minute walk to MGM. BCV would be closer to Epcot and further to MGM although both are doable. There is also a friendship boat that runs from MGM to Swan/Dolphin, BCV, BWV, and Epcot. It was usually faster to walk from BWV, but not by much, and the boat was very nice going home when we were tired.

The Boardwalk Villas wrap around Luna Park. Depending on where your room is it could be as easy as walking out your first floor patio door. From more distant rooms, as long as you can use the stairwells, it should be no more than 5 minutes--perhaps a bit longer if you have a need to trek all the way back to the main lobby to use the elevator.

BCV to SAB is guaranteed to be at least 5 minutes--perhaps 10 depending upon your elevator needs and room location.

2.) How far of a walk is it to Epcot and MGM from either one? Is one closer then the other or do they each have their own entrances to the parks?

BWV is about 10-15 minutes from Epcot and 15-20 from MGM. Again, a lot of it depends on where your room is located.

BCV is much closer to Epcot--maybe 5-8 minutes on foot. To MGM plan on 25+ minutes. Taking the boat is a decent alternative for BCV to MGM.

Forgot to say that if you're walking from BWV to MGM the "official" way is pretty silly. They send you all the way down the Boardwalk and then it winds all the way back around by Luna pool. If you just walk out by the pool and pick up the path from there you cut about 1/3 off the walk.
