I know that there arent any dedicated 2 bd at BWV. Has anyone stayed here with small children. Im worried about the door to the hallway and is there a stove in the room? Thanks
Tara

There is not a stove in the 2nd bedroom (which is actually a studio). There are the usual appliances found in a studio such as the microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, etc.

I don't know about the doors....they all have the slide latch on them I'm sure, but others have complained that the doors and the sliding doors to the balcony are too easy for little ones to open.

If I were worried about it, I'd put one of the chairs in front of the door to block it.

Some people buy door alarms. Do a google search.

Some people stack all their luggage in front of the door. Won't stop a dedicated four year old, but it will stop a sleepwalker or drowsy kid.

Last Jan my BIL's family of 6 kids stayed in a 2BR at BWV. I was concerned because the 3yo is a Houdini. So we used the security lock and piled the suitcases in front of the "studio door. That kept him from leaving but somehow when everyone was in the living room he closed the connecting door locking everyone out of the second bedroom! We were happy he wasn't locked in. But because we used the security lock we couldn't open it from the hall way. I don't know how maintenance got it open but they did. Oh he also hid in the closet in the master bedroom, took a few minutes to find him! Must say it was an interesting trip!
