What are the chances of getting this type of room at the 7 month mark or less in November the week after Jersey Week and the food and wine festival?

Sunday night might be difficult since it's Veteran's Day weekend.

If you are talking about Nov 10, 11, or possibly even night of the 12th, you might have issues. The crowd from Jersey week doesn't really leave until Monday and Tuesday.

For Pool/Garden 2 bedrooms, if you were booking right now, (9am Eastern on 4/8/12), Saturday & Sunday (11/ 10 & 11/11) are not available. Monday (11/12) - Sunday (11/18) are available.

Standard view and Boardwalk view have only a few of the nights available.

No way to know what will still be available or what might become available when the 7 month window opens.

If you haven't already, book your home resort now and then plan to waitlist if you can't get BWV when you call at 7 months.

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the information. I am actually not an owner yet. I am just trying to figure out what should be our home resort when we do become members. Although we haven't stayed there we like the BWV because of the short walk to Epcot and boat ride to Hollywood Studios. I was just thinking if we picked another home resort how hard it would be to book BWV 7 months out.

From the last week in September to the second week in January, BWV will be challenging to book if you can't book until AFTER seven months - i.e. six months is different than seven - even six and a half will reduce your chances. If you can call RIGHT at seven months you'll have some luck - it won't be a slam dunk, but I'd think you'd get a preferred view (not Boardwalk) more often than not.

One thing to remember is that it is within Disney's power to change dates for Food and Wine (or any other event, or add events) - when we bought we bought BW for the purpose of going the week before F&W started - that was when our kids had a break. Well, the year we bought was the year Disney decided to extend F&W and now our time is smack in the middle of F&W. However, now our kids are in middle school and we go in August. If what you want is to make sure you are at BWV and you'd be disappointed with anything else - buy there. If you will be happy with anywhere at Disney, and just would like BWV sometimes, you don't need BWVs.

I always go the week after Jersey Week because that is the week of the teacher's week in NJ. We choose that week because I am an administrator and choose to go the week after the teacher's convention.

BWV is one of those resorts that can be hard to book at the 7 month window. It's a bit smaller, so has fewer options. IF you want to stay at BWV, I would buy there. Otherwise, you may find yourself having to book elsewhere at the 7 month window. Finding something for Food and Wine, at the 7 month window is really hard. It can be done, but it is hard.
