Has anyone stayed there? What were your impressions? We are going in March and stayed at OKW before which we loved. Thought we would try something different. Does anyone have any tips? A preferred room to request? Can I see fireworks from BWV? I am so looking forward to this!

Just be prepared for that loooooooonnnnnnnngg walk down the hallways! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Other than that, you'll enjoy your stay!

You can not request specific rooms, but if you don't mind walking the loooong halls, request the duck pond/tennis court view and you may get one of the X123 rooms. 2123, 3123 & 4123 are 1-bedroom standard view rooms that stretch around the corner of the end of the building. The kitchen/living room is very, very large and they have a full size round kitchen table with 4 chairs.
The master bedroom/bath is normal size but the shower & toilet area is also oversized.
There are balconies all around the corner as well. The views stretch from the main driveway to the duck pond to MGM TOT.

Wonderful room - we had 3123 - and the CM just smiled and said we would love our room during checkin.

Enjoy!

Ditto on the X123 rooms! We had 2123 last month and loved it! We'd take it again in a heartbeat. The triple wrap-around open balcony was wonderful.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom standard at BWV in October and loved it. Our view was the driveway and parking, plus lawn and the little canal, plus the Epcot fireworks and the tops of a couple of the park buildings. Much preferable to the BCV views! Definitely a bit smaller then OKW, but, there's so much to do within walking distance of your room, who cares? I've already booked my 1 bedroom standard for next October.

If I gey any of teh x123 rooms - do you think walking could be a proble, I am travelling with my disabled father in law - he walks with a cane and fairly slow.

These rooms are almost at the very end of the hall, end of the villas - so he would have to walk a long way to the elevators. If he can do stairs, there are some almost right across the hall.

We stayed in a room off the first floor. I'd asked for high floor, didn't get it. But the first floor was great. We'd go out the door by the pool, and walk around to the Boardwalk and into Epcot. So no stairs or elevator to Epcot or MGM. To the bus, we'd usually take the stairs up through the breezeway, but you could take the elevator. What we really enjoyed was the easy access to the pool.

My mother has trouble walking and we rented an ECV for her. It worked great as she was unable to walk through the parks. If you're worried about the walk from the elevator, the parks could be impossible to do without one.

Ask for close to elevators.
