BWI: Who loves it, who doesn't? Got an UPGRADE!

I don't think you are crazy. Part of me wishes I would receive an offer like that, but I know I would probably turn it down too. We are staying at the POP which is my daughters favorite resort. I know she would be extremely disappointed if we switched.

Yep, I know what you mean, POFQ feels like "home" to us, especially for DGD11. I'm happy with my decision although it was really tempting to switch.

My DH is a foodcourt junkie too, especially because of the refillable mugs. When I explained to him that at the BWI you had to go to the bakery and they'd fill a cup for you so then you could fill your mug yourself, I got this..."duh" look from him. Thanks for the good wishes.

Would they have let you book 2 rooms in your name? Then your daughter could have just paid you the money instead of Disney.

But, here's the deal. We LOVE POFQ. But, for $33 more per night we can stay deluxe. But, it's gonna be a hard sell to DH tonight. And one more thing is that DD and her DH and DGD are booked for the same dates at POFQ, I don't really want to be staying somewhere else when they're at POFQ. I'm wondering if there's a way to apply the PIN to their reservation as well.

Well, I am booked at POR 11/16-11/20/11 and I would love to get that offer! The location is ideal IMO.

Ask if you can book a second room with that pin for your family and switch them over so you're at the same resort.

We took a family vote and the final decision is to stay with POFQ. I'm ok with that although being able to walk to Epcot would've been wonderful. Another time.

we got one of these emails in 2007 to upgrade from pop to saratoga in a 1br villa for FREE!!!! of course, we did it! my inlaws also had rooms booked for pop and they upgraded them too for free in a 1br villa. i would call and ask if your traveling party can upgrade too! these offers don't come along too often, take it! $33 for a deluxe, heck yeah!!!!

Just to put it into perspective. October is the absolutely best time, pricewise, for both Florida residents and passholder rates.

As a passholder, going the same weekend, the absolute BEST RATE for BI is about $265/night.

If money is an issue, you may never get the cnance to "do it deluxe" again. Your kids will definitely remember it, and I have to tell you I think its a mistake not to do it.
