I have a reservation for a studio at BWV for our December trip. I am toying with the idea of staying at BWI instead. We have stayed at BWV before in both a studo and a 1-bedroom. Would love a one-bedroom but none available at this time for our dates (I will continue to check though). If we stay at BWI, it would be a standard room. Just thinking of trying something different. Any pros or cons? Thanks!

The room at BWI will have 2 queens plus most have a small daybed. BWV has a queen and a pullout couch. Depending on how many people you have, that could be a factor to consider. BWV has the kitchenette.

Boardwalk Inn rooms are decorated much more beautifully and luxuriously than the villas. High quality drapes, carpets, bedding, etc. -- as opposed to the villas, which are more average and middle-of-the road, IMO.

We usually stay in a one-bedroom villa for the space and full kitchen, but we stayed at the BWI a couple of years ago when we couldn't get the one-bedroom. We loved the BWI room -- very big and luxurious. And we had a huge balcony (more like a patio!) with a view over the Boardwalk. We loved it. It it were me and the two rooms were pretty comparable in price, I'd take the BWI room over the BWV studio.
