Rates for flights just dropped to $94 each way bringing my flight total down to $837 for all 4 of us!!!! This is on SW so no luggage charge either!

I don't have the funds to book it right now though. I am waiting for a check that should come anyday!

Now ... there are still plenty of flights AND the price has dropped $10 this week do you think it will go down more or shoot back up here any day?

I have never flown before so not sure how this works.

Thanks

I'd be trying to book those now someway - if you wait, those rates will most likely be gone. We got BWI to MCO for this past January for $59 one way and $79 the other -- using a SW DING! Those were the lowest priced flights I had ever seen since we moved here 4 years ago. (And we didn't get $59 each way because the DING flights at $59 were already gone by the time I booked my flight - only a few hours after the DING came out).

We fly Southwest all the time, usually from Pittsburgh, Dulles, or BWI. From what I've seen, typically Southwest prices go up on Fridays and are lower Tuesday through Thursday. If it goes up tomorrow, come Tuesday it might go back down or it might not, it's a gamble. I hope it stays low for you! :goodvibes

I hate to suggest taking a $94 flight, last summer we flew BWI-MCO for $49 down and $54 back (not dings), and just about 45 days ago, July flights were $67 down to MCO. But I see that your trip is in June, I personally make sure I have my flights booked at least a month ahead of time, and over the past 3 weeks or so the BWI-MCO prices have been between $88 and $120ish, so 94 isn't bad. I'd buy the tickets as soon as possible and if they do go down, rebook to get the credit.

Wow - I must have missed those prices - I think it cost us about $200 each last June when we flew!

Yeah I got a ding too for MCO to BWI for $88.

I have to wait for that check though. I won't spend money I "need" on Disney trips ... only the extra / windfall money.

So I will wait by the mail box and hope!

I was soooo tempted to book that ding for at least the one way ... but it was also all really early AM flights by the time I got to it ... and I really need that check!
