BWI Concierge or AKL Concierge? What's better?

I'm looking for opinions.

What is better Boardwalk Inn Concierge or AKL Concierge?

Has anyone stayed at both or either?

Any info would be great.

Thinking about a few days in April. Narrowed it down to AKL or BWI-doesn't matter to us-about the same price. Plenty to do at either place. Whatever one we don't pick, we will stay there later in the year.

Which would you choose? What one would you try first?

The AKL food offerings are better then the BWI if that is important to you. Also the staff at AKL is amazing.

We have stayed at AKL concierge, and will be returning there in a few weeks. I really recommend it. We especially enjoyed the Espresso machine in the lounge, the resort itself, and the helpful friendly staff.

We stayed at both this year.

If you are going to stay at the other one later in the year, I'd say do the AKL when the weather is nice so you can enjoy the Sunrise Safari.

If you like Boma food, you will like the AKL concierge lounge food. It comes from Boma.

Never really had the CMs get any PSs for us in either place. At the AKL, I asked one of the CMs if I could rent a refrigerator. She wrote it down on a paper at that was the last I heard about it. Never did get the regrigerator.

We have stayed at both and if you go strictly by food offerings AKL is much better.

I have had the CM's at each resort go the extra mile to make our trips magical.

There is alot to do at each resort, but I have teens and they like the location and activity of the BW. Also, what kind of decor do you like? BWI is light and airy, AKL has more of the browns and dark furniture. It was amazing to feel like I was actually someplace other than WDW when staying at AKL.

Since you will do both think about where and how you will be spending your time on each trip. Happy Planning (Isn't that the best part)

We are going in April because my DH is doing a triathlon in Clermont.

Staying at WDW for 4 nights while he does all the pre-race stuff and the actual race then we are going to VB to relax.

From what I've read here, it sounds like maybe we should do the Boardwalk and then he can spend a lot more time with us at the AKL Concierge in November.

Our priority is the food offerings I guess and having things to do with my DS(6) and DD(4) while DH is in Clermont.

Am I on the right track. Save the AKL Concierge trip until he can see it. Is it not to be missed?

Any more info on either resort will be appreciated-I've gotten a lot off the website but I want to hear from people who have been there.

We have stayed at both...at the Boardwalk on the grand plan (concierge included)...and at AKL, a concierge stay...

AKL blows the BWI away, both with food and castmember service...they are wonderful.
