BW View Studio Question

Hello,

I have 2 Boardwalk Studios booked for December. When we were there in August I could not figure out where the studios were with the BWV.

Just read a thread about a DVC member checking in and being given a BWV that was actually a view of the Village Green.

Are there dedicated BWV studios that face the BW? Which floors are they on?

There is not one particular area. They are located on all floors and all sections. A member started a spreadsheet with room reports, this is not all all inclusive list.

I have been above Big River Grill both times (on different floors) when I booked a Boardwalk View studio. Both studios were dedicated which meant that we had a day bed where the connecting door would be. The biggest downside was the DING! DING! from the games outside our door.

bw views are request. if your reservation confirmation says - preferred - bw - then you have a bw view.

if it just says preferred - you don't. those views are lagoon - between swan and studios, pool - main and quiet, garden view.

if it says standard - then you have a garden view - but also a drive way view or parking lot.

some dedicated face the bw - others face the pool area.

We had a lock off studio last week and wound up with a room right over the DVC preview center on the Boardwalk. Great view of spaceship earth and the YandB area. We were booked on a preferred view, not a Boardwalk view...
