Buzz Lightyear FP?

Is BL something you really need a FP for or could we just get on first thing in the morning? TIA!

You'll be fine first thing in the morning. Even by the end of the first hour, waits usually aren't more than about 10 minutes but if you're in the first half hour you should be able to ride as many times as you want. However, late morning and for the rest of the day, Buzz seems to be one of the worst rides as far as FPP folks backing up (that line frequently looks almost as long as the regular line!), so waiting standby can be very frustrating as they keep letting in all the FPP people while you just stand there.

In my past years (before FP+) during the end and middle of days the lines for Buzz are very long! I would def recommend going first thing in the morning or getting a Fastpass after your three are used up. Have a magical time!

With Buzz going down so often it can get a longish line. It was my 2 year old sons favorite ride. Based on the number of pictures we have he rode it 10-15 times. Almost every time with a FP. If you're planning on doing early FP and can get more SDFP we were able to get them anytime we wanted!

We did see 1hr waits while we were there early June. We also had 1 30 minutes FP wait due to technical problems...

I would never use a FP on this ride. you can easily walk on at some point in the day

Buzz is a great 4th (or 5th or 6th) FastPass.

Last week Buzz had numerous FP's available during the evening hours. You can easily get a FP for it after you use up all three.

A FP is essential for us. The standby line is one of the worst. If I can't walk on first thing or last thing, I will not attempt this one.

I had good success with using a 4th or 5th FP. I had to keep refreshing but I finally got one.
