Buying Wine & Alcohol at Epcot

I want to buy some wine in Germany. Am I able to take it with me when I buy it or do they have to deliver it to the park entrance for pick up? Do they deliver it to the entrance multiple times during the day or just at closing?

We have purchased wine in EPCOT. We could take the wine with us, but we chose to pick it up at the "rear" entrance (maybe because we were staying at the BCV) later in the day. I can't remember if they offered to deliver to the Beach Club, since it was our last day before heading home, maybe this wasn't an option.

I bought wine glasses there last year and asked to have them delivered to our resort but the lady said they couldn't bc they were glass. Could be the same issue with full wine bottles but not sure.

From our experience, you are able to take it with you (just don't open it up ) or have it delivered to either the International Gateway or the front entrance for pick up in "about three hours". From multiple conversations with Cast members (not bus drivers ), these cannot be sent back to your resort.

Last year they wouldn't let us take it, it had to be delivered to the front of the park, I was corrected by the wife, that was buying wine at the wine building. You can take it or have it delivered from the the country's to the front of the park. My bad...

Last year at Food & Wine we purchased alcohol at the Festival Center. The CM told us we could not take it with us -- it had to be sent to either exit for pickup later.

I have also read about people who buy alcohol in Epcot and take it with them. These people don't say they're at Epcot during Food & Wine. Perhaps that's the difference?

In either case, Disney won't deliver alcohol to your resort. I think it's about it being a "food" or consumable item, which Disney has a strict policy against delivering from the parks.
