Buying wand in advance?

I’m visiting universal for the first time in a decade, and I’m most excited about the HP stuff. Question: would it be better/save much time to buy a second generation wand in advance? Or should I just wait and buy it in Ollivanders?

if its just about saving time,,then no have the experience. If its about saving money, some you can get off marketplace and elsewhere cheaper then yes.
We have 2 daughters, one into it, one not. Purchased one in advance and the other we had the experience. She was lucky to be picked. And in a different way. Not 1st pick when the room is full, but as we were the last leaving, we were pulled aside and she had a special wand picked for her. Much better for her, she doesnt like crowds or standing out in one. Great experience.

I have somewhat related questions.

Does anyone know if the wands sold at Universal Studios Japan work at the Orlando parks? And is there a way to get a map for where to cast spells without buying a new wand?
