I'm sorry to ask but I can't find the thread. I thought I remembered asking before or seeing it before. Does anyone know the website where you can compare buying used textbooks? Thanks!
Over the last year i got my books from amazon.com. they have used ones but i have recently bought new ones on amazon for the same price as used copies in my campus bookstore
I use half.com I'm in my last (yipee!!!) semester of nursing school and have saved a TON over the past 34 years compared to what the bookstore was charging. Plus I've re-sold most of the books as I finish w/ them.
If the used book is of a prior edition, you may have difficulty keeping up with the professor when he says turn to page X and the page number is different for your book.

DH rents his text books. I can not remember where but I will ask him. He is upstairs in the middle of a bowl game. He has tried all different ways to get his books and this has been by far the cheapest and very easy!!
textbookgenius.com is a decent site. you can search for a book and then it shows you prices for new and used textbooks, or prices to rent at all the major sites -- Amazon, Half.com, eCampus, Alibris, Chegg etc
