Buying tickets with gift card

Can you purchase your park tickets online or over the phone with Disney gift cards, or are you only able to do that at the park?

About to post this exact question myself! Just went to Target and got a bunch of gift cards and now I am ready to purchase my tickets. Can I call or go to a Disney store?

I just spoke with an agent and you are able to use gift cards online but you must only gift cards for that transaction. If you want to use gift cards and credit cards you must call to order.

I bought my Gift Cards at Target. I then took the Gift Cards to the Disney Store and purchased 2 Annual Passes -- no problems whatsoever.

At all ticket windows at the WDW Parks (including water parks, DTD, TTC and Epcot International Gateway) we are able to take three forms of payment for any ticket transaction.

An unlimited number of Disney Gift Cards is considered as only one form of payment.

Other than Disney Gift Cards, each individual credit or debit or stored cash card or Resort KTTW is considered one form of payment.

And, of course, cash is considered a form of payment.

this is what my wife and I do for all of our trips... Giant Eagle sells gifts cards. They also have fuel point discounts when you use your Giant Eagle card. So we buy our gift cards from there (get our fuel points for the purchase) but charge them to our disney visa (where we get our reward points from the purchase), then use the cards to pay off our vacation package. Then since we already have the money saved, we go online and pay off the disney visa with our checking account.

It may seem like a hassle to some, but with our giant eagle card fuel points we got 30 gallons of gas for less than $18... and we got almost $20 in reward dollars to spend at Disney for that trip... I'd say that was well worth it!

I was planning on buying the gift cards at Kroger's to get the fuel points too. I just wanted to make sure I could purchase the tickets on the phone. I didn't want to have to wait in line to purchase tickets at the park. Thanks

It does not take long to get tickets at a window. Or you can get them at a Resort (if staying on property) or you could go to one of the two Guest Relations locations at DTD the evening before.

But don't count on using multiple gift cards over the phone.

So a Disney store will take multiple gift cards for ticket purchases? I have $1500 worth all in $15-$50 increments
