Are you purchasing online and having the park tickets mailed to you? I don't think you will need to show any proof of AAA membership in the parks if the tickets are mailed to you.

As far as I know, AAA does not mail tickets (at least most of the AAA offices don't.)
But, you can't buy AAA park tickets AT WDW, anyway.
You must buy AAA park tickets directly from a AAA office.
And, once the tickets are purchased, no further ID is required at WDW.
(The exception is if you purchase AAA WDW Annual Passes, where a legal photo ID is required to activate (and receive) the new APs at a Guest Relations before going to the park gates.)
All correct! You won't have a problem using AAA tickets even if they were bought under someone else's membership. You will need to buy the tickets at an AAA office to get their price, and your mom will need to be present for the membership.
We booked our whole package through AAA a few years ago and other than showing the card in order to get an appointment with the agent, we didn't have to verify we were members anywhere at Disney.
