We'll be down at WDW from Nov. 19 - 25 and although we have annual passes, my cousin and his family say they want to wait and buy their Park Hopper passes when we get there.

Is that "not" a good idea based on gate prices and lines when you get there? I'm just wonderfing if they're better off purchasing online and picking them up at "will call" because the lines will be so long. I'm not familiar with that because we always buy ours ahead of time.

Thanks,

Deb

I do believe there is a discount if you advance purchase, however, regarding the lines, they usually move very quickly, and there are also vending machines where they can purchase them, and I have never seen a line at those.

We bought our tickets online and then had to stand in line anyway to get the actual 'ticket' (these were AP's). I must say the line was really long and it seemed to take quite a few people a long time to figure out the difference WDW now offers on their tickets (park hopper, nonhopper, plus, minus, here, there). There were about 6 folks behind us who were so tired of waiting in line, they started heckling the folks who took so long. Felt sorta bad for them. This was the 'back entrance' walking from the BWV/BC, etc.

When we went in August, there were no lines at International Gateway for ticket/guest services. My mom bought her MYW ticket, I replaced the girls' APs that I couldn't find, and we were in the park in about 6 minutes at the most.
