We will be staying at Seq Lodge in a couple of weeks time and I was wondering about getting small supplies for our stay like milk for a cuppa, biscuits etc. I have had a look at a map and it seems we are very close to the petrol station. Can you walk from SL to it and if so how long does it take and do they sell basic provisions. I know you can catch a train to the shops but I don't want a lot of stuff and don't really want to make that trip. Any advice would be great.:wave2:

You could walk to it, it just after the Santa Fe but you will be able to find everything you are after for cheaper at the little Casino mini mart which is in the RER/Train station

Just remember though that if you need fresh milk you will have to go to Auchan at Val d'Europe as all the other shops sell UHT.

Carrie is the Mini Mart you've mentioned above, the little shop on the right as you enter the station from Park/Village entrance doors? We have bought biscuits, drinks and crisps in there before, just want to make sure I haven't missed another store in the station. Thanks :)

When you are facing the station front entrance (not the side when the buses park) the Casino shop is on the left, it's as far left as you can go next to the automatic RER ticket machines :)

Just wanted to mention that the smaller Relay shop in the station sells BN biscuits if anyone from the UK remembers and misses them ^_^

I thought I'd asked such a stupid question but I'm glad I did now, it's the Relay shop that we've used in the past then I think, I will go on a search next visit, I've only turned left once when we bought coffee and baguettes, (incidently the baguettes were lovely) so I assume carry on past that little cafe ?

Do the rooms in Sequoia have mini-fridges ( either empty, or can you ask to have them emptied?)....we'll be taking a cooler no matter what, but a fridge would be nice. What about an ice machine?

There is a mini bar. You'd need to ask them to empty it because if you remove anything you have to pay for it. It's automated.
Not sure about ice machines.
I think you can give them milk at reception to put in their fridge either.

Only Montana rooms at the SL have mini bar. We had a room in the Yellowstone Lodge last week and there wasn't any.

There is def a ice machine in the yellowstone lodge its on the first floor behind the lift.
