buying pins when you're not at the parks

I was wondering if there was a way to purchase pins and not actually be on WDW property? I'm really interested in a figment pin that will be released in late July at WDW, except I won't be in the parks again until Aug 5th. Since this is a limited edition pin, and it has a small edition number, I don't want to risk waiting until I get down there and finding out it is all sold out. If there is a way that you can buy LE pins directly from Disney on their release date I would love to know how, thanks in advance!

Yes, thats exactly it! Thank you so much! Is it hard to order directly from Disney, is it the sort of thing where I have to be on the phone right at 8:00 am to place an order?

It's very easy. Just be sure to have the pin's description and SKU number. I order all my Disney Visa pins this way, usually by sending an email. They're LE pins, too, but not as limited as the Figment pin.

I'd say you should probably plan on phoning them at 8:00 am on the release day. You might also try calling or emailing them now and letting them know your interested in the pin. They'll probably tell you that it's not available yet, but it doesn't hurt to try!
